Still a majority of the movement is, ironically, right into the maws of the worst climate impact areas, close to seashores, and places like the US Southwest. That’s going to change.

  One of my personal constraints is the longer winter nights at higher latitudes, which was a problem for me back when I lived in Massachusetts, so I compromised and settled on North Carolina as my escape from ever-hotter central Texas.
