    Ridiculous tripe. Casting this kind of stupidity back in time reinforces the grossest conceits and prejudices about previous generations, who survived under circumstances which most moderns would certainly die from. These people were nowhere near as stupid of brutish as is commonly presented. The real genocide didn’t start until modern reason made its debut.

      If they have the same percentage of people who avoid rigorous thought as we have today, then it’s safe to call many of them stupid. 😉

    This is the kind of science that Inhofe, Trump, and Pruitt subscribe to. Rumor has it that the Koch Brothers are going to endow a number of science chairs at various red state universities and name them after these three.
