I don’t think Tesla has as much “first mover advantage” as a lot of investors think: They basically ran into a lot of the mistakes that subsequent EV automakers can avoid. Meanwhile, the legacy automakers have dealership networks in place all around the US and experienced marketing machines. (AIUI Tesla only has pouty-baby Elon Musk as both the PR and Marketing departments.)
I still think the investor problem is that there is no clear EV/PHEV market segment as a whole, and while Tesla may be a good proxy while it has 65% of the US EV market share as of Q3 2022, they’re expected to drop below 20% by 2025 as the non-luxury EV market heats up.

I like that they post the potential conflicts of interest for each guest now.
The bullish guy made all the right optimistic noises for someone who wants to pump up the value of the stock they already have.
