   I fear there may be many more carbon credits on the market than there are in reality, whether by over-optimistic projections, market gamesmanship, or just plain grift.

       After you’ve cut down all of the timber on your property, sell carbon credits to replant it. What a racket.

   Wind farms have been constructed in Scotland with Land Use Change methane emissions worse than those of combined cycle gas, or even coal. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0959652622020819
   The Scottish Nationalist goverrnment in Edinburgh is very keen on closing the country’s last two nuclear reactors, of combined 1.29 GW. At the moment, that’s more electricity than the entire UK wind fleet, of 25 GW capacity, can manage. That figure has been ‘0.00 W’ all day. https://app.electricitymaps.com/zone/GB
