   Politicians on the ground disrupt rescue and cleanup operations. That’s one reason I think it was a good idea that W. didn’t visit the area damaged by Katrina in the early days and only did a fly-over, for which he was criticized. There were plenty enough things to give him shit about, including the political hack that was made the head of FEMA (“Heckuva Job Brownie”).
