A young man, after much effort, was finally able to convince his denier father that climate change was real. Interesting to me that the father was initially positive that climate change was ‘nonsense’, but was completely unaware that there were things like deforestation in the Amazon.
“the planet goes on being round” But it’s also been repeated, ad nauseum, that Earth is going to be fine. The living things on it, including humans, not so much. So I’m not sure what comfort I should take in knowing that the planet is going to go on being round. I guess that I can’t fall off the edge of it…
