Obviously a flashback to a era “before social media” when citizens listened to educated people. Richard Feynman was warned by his father about people with big hats but I wonder if educated people today should begin wearing honorific symbols (sergeant’s stripes, ribbon bars, or star trek lapel stars)
I think that Carl Sagan presented a clear, concise, and accurate picture of the greenhouse effect without getting into the weeds. I like that he addressed how it is an international problem. In terms of remedies, Sagan left out wind power and placed too much emphasis on fusion power. That’s okay. The message was sent a long time ago by many scientists, and the world’s response has been abysmal. Thanks, Republicans!
