It’s darned tough to maintain a job in the same field these days, even to have continuous employment on one’s C.V. New skills and “upskilling” required and most probably a good few lay-offs and early retirements. This is the story of the twenty-first century and wishing good luck to all workers in the vehicle industry, who built us those robust and stylish ICE powered transport.

Yeah, the fact that EVs have far fewer parts will result in net fewer jobs (including muffler, oil change and most other service jobs).
