Dear AntiVaxxers: I Don’t Think This Means What You Think it Means

September 18, 2021

John Nolte in Breitbart (I won’t link to that fascist rag):

In a country where elections are decided on razor-thin margins, does it not benefit one side if their opponents simply drop dead?

If I wanted to use reverse psychology to convince people not to get a life-saving vaccination, I would do exactly what Stern and the left are doing… I would bully and taunt and mock and ridicule you for not getting vaccinated, knowing the human response would be, Hey, fuck you, I’m never getting vaccinated!

And why is that a perfectly human response? Because no one ever wants to feel like they are being bullied or ridiculed or mocked or pushed into doing anything.

Who wants to cave to piece of shit like Howard Stern (or Jimmy Kimmel or these repulsive doctors refusing to treat the unvaccinated or Bette Midler or, or, or…) Who wants to feel like they’re caving to a guy who’s such a piece of shit he publicly mocks people who have died. And he’s not just a piece of shit mocking them; he’s a piece of shit hurting the families the dead men left behind.

No one wants to cave to a piece of shit like that, or a scumbag like Fauci, or any of the scumbags at CNNLOL, so we don’t. And what’s the result? They’re all vaccinated, and we’re not! And when you look at the numbers, the only numbers that matter, which is who’s dying, it’s overwhelmingly the unvaccinated who are dying, and they have just manipulated millions of their political enemies into the unvaccinated camp.

According to the CDC, 99.5 percent of those dying of the China Flu are unvaccinated. So even if they’re lying or exaggerating, even if it’s 75 or 80 percent, those numbers are pretty stark.

Could it be…? Could it possibly be that the left has manipulated huge swathes of Trump voters into believing they are owning the left by not taking the life-saving Trump Vaccine?

Here’s Stern:

Long-time radio host and media personality Howard Stern laughed as he mocked a string of right-wing radio hosts who died of Covid after publicly stating their opposition to forced vaccine and mask mandates.

On Tuesday’s edition of Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show, the host took pleasure in mocking several late radio hosts with whom he disagreed, as he made the case for a mandatory vaccination program.

‘It’s really funny when these radio, the radio guys are the best, they’re like four of them died, four of them were like ranting on the air,’ he cackled.

Have you ever thought that maybe the left has us right where they want us?

Just stand back for a moment and think about this…

Right now, a countless number of Trump supporters believe they are owning the left by refusing to take a life-saving vaccine — a vaccine, by the way, everyone on the left has taken. Oh, and so has Trump.

Now think about this…

On this very day, about 1,000 people in the U.S. will die of the China Flu. How many of those lives could’ve been saved had they been vaccinated? Is it 998?

Is it 778?

Is it 229?

Does it matter?

And if the left is all vaccinated and we’re not, who’s winning?

The push for mandates is another ploy to get us to dig in and not do what’s best for ourselves because no one wants to feel like they’re caving to a mandate.

Final note: How many of you were aware the CDC believes that 99.5 percent of those dying are unvaccinated? I bet not many of you. So why would the metric that is the most convincing one not be all over the place? Once you learn that 99.5 percent of deaths are unvaccinated, it cuts through all the muck. That number is startling, an eye-opener… Forget cases, forget mandates, forget masks, and Howard Stern… When you learn that almost everyone dying is unvaccinated, that’s a come to Jesus moment.

I could be wrong.

Maybe the left isn’t that evil and sly.

But when I think of the unvaccinated lying there dying, being told by their doctor, “Sorry, there’s nothing more we can do to get enough oxygen to your lungs,” I don’t laugh. My heart breaks for that person. Imagine lying there dying thinking that all you had to do was get the Trump Vaccine.

Even if this isn’t the left’s plan, who’s owning who?

Here is a serious analysis of this issue. If you want just the conclusion without wading through the numbers, my understanding is that most of the Republican deaths are in states where the number of Democratic voters is so small that it doesn’t make much difference. It’s more a Republican strategy to have lots of people die to make Biden look bad (which I find hard to think could be real; maybe that’s satire I misread).–A-Simple-Actuarial-Analysis?detail=emaildkre2

In short, their policy is cost-effective vote-wise. It isn’t as if the party ever really gave a damn about regular people anyway.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, I cannot believe that rational, mature humans think like this. And so it must be that they must be irrational and immature. How does one reason with such a person?

    Dear John Nolte,

Under no circumstance should you get vaccinated. Feel better now?

    A lib.

I’m going to go way way out on a limb here and predict that Faux News and OAN did not talk about this. Meanwhile, those of us in the real world have been bombarded with this statistic. God, what a putz.

    • jimbills Says:

Nolte is trying to get his readers vaccinated using their own beliefs – that the left is so evil they want you to die, that there is a media conspiracy to kill you, that the vaccine was all because of Trump, and so on.

His words are absolutely nauseating to us, but he’s trying to convince those dumdums to get vaccinated by speaking their language. I can live with that.

Sometimes your opponent in a negotiation agrees to give you what you want, for the wrong reasons. At that point, you take it.

That’s a whole lotta hate– and a whole lotta projection. The anti-vax folk have been building this disaster for decades, and it’s not as if the extreme right suddenly decided to join them just to own the Libs…

Nolte: “When you learn that almost everyone dying is unvaccinated, that’s a come to Jesus moment.” The word isn’t ‘learn’, its ‘relearn’. We all know how vaccines work: they’ve been around for a couple centuries now. Why is it a surprise to ‘learn’ that they are saving lives? That’s why we engineered them: to save lives. And given this ‘crazy’ world we live in: it turns out that’s what they do.

Come to Jesus? How about come to your senses. The stupid really hurts, sometimes. These guys are going to lose their coastal homes to sea level rise, and this guy is going to tell them that was “the lefts” evil plan all along.

  8. mboli Says:

In a similar vein, one of considerations of the booster shots advisory panel was: vaccine doubters will construe the recommendation for booster shots as evidence the vaccine doesn’t work well.

I assume John Nolte knows his Breitbart audience. He is telling them “Vaccine mandates are a liberal trick to discourage us from being vaccinated. Don’t fall for it, get vaxed.” Which sounds weird, but in the twisted world of the right-wing nut jobs, Nolte could be right.

But it does sound like Maxwell Smart saying “Aha! It’s the old Double Reverse Psychology trick!”

Oh no! Captain Heroman has uncovered our evil plan. Now we’ll have to switch to Plan B: Trained sharks, with lasers on their heads, programmed to swim up the sewer-lines of known Trump voters…
