He did about as well as they thought he would do. The real question is: who keeps giving these quacks a megaphone?

I was 10 years old in 1958, if the public and I knew what the oil companies were finding out then, then the push to stop using fossils to power the nations would have started then. World War II was only just over a decade finished, and people were less manipulated and influenced by professional deniers back then. Maybe the mass deaths we are seeing in Canada and other miseries of the 21st century could have been avoided. Now we know let us at least take action and learn from the past and stop listening to these cads and bastardis.

“As early as 1958, the oil industry was hiring scientists and engineers to research the role that burning fossil fuels plays in global warming. The goal at the time was to help the major oil conglomerates understand how changes in the Earth’s atmosphere may affect the industry – and their bottom line. But what top executives gained was an early preview of the climate crisis, decades before the issue reached public consciousness.”

Solar cycle 25 prediction looks relatively low. Here’s hoping.
