I don’t get it either. Now we always hear on the news that “most college educated citizens voted for Biden”. Is it possible that nearly half the American population might be nit-wits?
It’s possibly that many people see there’s a problem with the way America has been run, but can’t quite understand what it is? They’ve been so indoctrinated by media, how to think has become a lost skill. A snake oil salesman just happened to appear at the right time!.
food for throught: I was flipping through some Netflix previews when I stopped briefly on a show about a young British woman trying out for, and winning, a spot on WWE wrestling. Now everyone reading this knows that this kind of sport, where the contestants are handed a microphone so they can share their thoughts with the audience, ARE FAKE (the last letter of WWE stands for Entertainment). Nevertheless, the movie I stopped on was filmed at a real WWE event where it appeared to be a sold-out performance (e.g. the venue was filled from floor to ceiling with screaming Americans) and that is when it hit me: A fraction of Americans see very little difference between a “wrestling spectacle” and a “political spectacle”. For them, it isn’t Trump vs. Biden. It is “Trump the Terrible” vs. “Biden the Beast”. Keep this is mind the next time you hear Trump saying something really outrageous.

For white college educated voters, it was actually even between Trump and Biden:
