I AM tired of no subsidies for Tesla though. Germany just upped their EV subsidy to 10,000 euros. I guess they want to reduce their CO2 emissions or something.
At one point she pointed out that the battery system design included a standardized interconnect mechanism such that replacement cells/parts/whatever could accept upgraded designs or makes of battery components.
I’m waiting for a similar standardization at grid scale, allowing for any plug-compatible component designed to the same interface specification.
