What does that even mean – stopfunding Fox News ?!?
If you are serious about getting Fox off the air, start a campaign to have its charter to broadcast pulled.

As the video says, it means stop advertising on Fox News.
They didn’t mention who does.

Funding – bad word choice.
And pressuring advertisers through letter-writing or boycotting may seem like a great idea – but it is a huge waste of time and effort. You might shame a few to pull ads, but they will be back again. Or simply replaced. Because Fox News is a ratings monster with a very particular viewer profile.
Better to get it off the air because it doesn’t fulfill its obligation to be in the public interest as a news programming. “News” means something important.
CNN and MSNBC should also be tested against the same standard.
Fox News uses our public infrastructure as a propaganda outlet. We have the right, indeed the obligation to maintain the integrity of our media. Pulling the charter of Fox News is something that can and should be done. In an ideal world. But people have to fight for it. I suggest it would be better way to address the issue than boycotting advertisers.
At the very least, it would require Fox to drop the word “News” from its program.

FWIW, cable channels can’t be taken “off the air”.

It would be helpful to list some key advertisers as examples of whom the campaign would target.
