Treasonous Denier of the Week: Michelle Bachmann

October 31, 2019

I started this as a one-off joke. Turns out it’s a thing.

Big crossover between climate denial and Putinism. Go figure.

In an appearance on Tony Perkins’ Washington Watch program this Tuesday, former Minnesota congresswoman and chairwoman of the Family Research Council, Michele Bachmann, discussed the Democrats’ “fake, phony” impeachment inquiry currently targeting President Trump.

“This is such a pathetic joke,” Bachmann said. “They have no candidate on the Democrat side for 2020 that they can get excited about. … They have no message, they have no record of accomplishment, they’re doing nothing in Congress, so this [impeachment] is the only thing they have to run on.”

“Our President of the United States — he is like nobody else I have ever met in my life,” she continued. “And he doesn’t scare easy and he’s gonna stare these guys down. They have no idea who they’re dealing with.”

According to Bachmann, Trump’s potential impeachment has “almost biblical implications.”

Wrapping up the segment, the two discussed the recent military operation that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and how it was strategically more significant than former President Obama’s accomplishment of taking out Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden — a feat that President Clinton failed to do.

“[Trump] understands the difference between good and evil,” Bachmann declared. “We have not seen a president with greater moral clarity than this president.”

The woman is a total airhead, with no concept of public service, and still got elected.
Claiming Cpl bone spurs has moral clarity just beggars belief and anti AGW is a crime against humanity. Let there be criminal trials in the ‘near’ future please.

You can not make this stuff up—-my jaw drops and my head shakes while viewing it. Michelle Bachmann IS a joke, and always has been—-before she ran for office, while she was in office, and now—-she and Sarah Palin are the Repugnant poster girls for telling lies and slinging bullshit. She has a lot of nerve speaking of “clarity” of any kind, never mind the “moral” clarity of our amoral pig of a president. Borders on “stunning”.

  4. Lionel Smith Says:

Bachmann etc have no self-awareness. She and Palin are opportunistic idiots. The female equivalents of Inhofe and Rohrabacher.

  5. “But Carbon Dioxide is, perhaps, 3% of the total atmosphere that’s in the Earth.”

  6. mboli Says:

Lordy, Bachmann did love the way that “Carbon Dioxide” rolled off her tongue when she was giving that little floor speech.

    Clinton? Bush, surely?

    • rhymeswithgoalie Says:

Bill Clinton was blamed for an attack on a facility that intel said was Osama bin Laden’s location, but apparently wasn’t. He left office without getting OBL, but National Security advisor Rice sent a warning to George W. Bush (“Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US”) was not heeded and the 9/11 attacks happened.

      • realthog Says:

Thanks for the explanation: that makes more sense!

So in reality they both failed . . . or, more accurately, GWB didn’t bother trying until after 9/11, the military/intel under Clinton failed and the military/intel under Obama succeeded. (I always have reservations about presidents being blamed or credited for things that simply happened on their watch.)

When in comes to science and technology, most politicians are idiots and the ones presented here are no exception. You could talk to anyone involved in public health (firemen, OSHA inspectors, etc.) to find out if CO2 is good or bad. The truth is this: there are government imposed regulations on every industry to ensure that CO2 levels never get too high. Simply googling phrases like this: acceptable co2 levels in buildings

yield articles like this first hit:

    where we read:
1,000-2,000ppm Complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
2,000-5,000 ppm Headaches, sleepiness and stagnant, stale, stuffy air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea may also be present.

comment: we are now living in a world where only politicians who say crazy things get any decent funding (saying these politically crazy things is now known as “paying the crazy tax”). It is a system in which we will all be ruled by modern day Bozo the Clowns. May the deity help us all
