Take the Climate Blog Survey
October 8, 2019
I’m participating in a survey of climate blogs conducted by Cambridge University and Wageningen University, which should take about 12 minutes to complete.
I invite any and all readers to participate as well. Details below.
——————————-
Please share your views on climate change and reading blogs by filling out this survey. The data will be used for getting to know the readers of climate change blogs.
What’s in it for you?
- You have a chance on winning a $20 gift card of Amazon;
- You will get a sneak preview of the preliminary results;
- You will contribute to research on climate change blogs.
Participation is anonymous, and your answers will be handled confidentially. The data is only used for research purposes.
Your input is highly valued! Please fill out the survey by following this link.

Survey finished; I visit the blogs that write about climate-change denial because it seems important to know what is being said, even if I don’t agree with what they are writing about. I was shocked this past week to see anti-Greta posts. Hurt my soul and makes me sad, but maybe it’s a sign of growing national unrest or perhaps of soul rot in today’s society?
Ecuador is presently under a transportation-strike crisis which began last Thursday. I will be curious to see if the lack of pollution from taxis and buses will reflect the same ‘911-masking effect’ — or not.
Thank you for all that you do to keep us updated and informed.

Took the survey—-pretty painless—-can’t wait to see the results. When does it close?

Took the survey. mostly fair but there was a big block which talked about addressing/fixing climate change and the focus was entirely on personal responsibility. Which is weird. I mean, what can I say? I live in an apartment with glass walls (poor insulation), with gas heat & stove that I can’t change, consuming food from I-don’t-know-where with IDK how much climate impact. My work forces me to fly for business. I live in a country where the per-capita greenhouse gasses are among the highest in the world. And I, what, commute by bike and eat vegetarian so I say I’m helping?? What does any of that even mean? It’s a societal issue, yet the only discussion is about personal responsibility. Whaaaaaa???

I wasn’t able to click “Male” and “I’m too old to have a gender” simultaneously. I don’t know how dumboldguy managed to do that.
