As climate change gets more obvious, Deniers get more imaginative.
Mark Taylor, a radical right-wing conspiracy theorist and so-called “firefighter prophet,” appeared on the “Up Front In The Prophetic” radio program yesterday, where he declared that the tropical storm that is forming in the Gulf of Mexico is man-made and was created to punish the state of Georgia for recently passing a radical anti-choice “heartbeat bill.”
A trough of low pressure that has been sitting over Georgia is likely to strengthen into Hurricane Barry and is expected to strike Louisiana this weekend. Taylor, who has repeatedly asserted that the Illuminati creates and controls the weather, said it is “retaliation for the Georgia heartbeat bill.”
“That’s the first thing that comes to mind,” he said, “because when Roe v. Wade comes down, where is [the issue] going to go? It is going to go to the states. And you have states out there like Georgia—and there are a couple of others out there—that have gone as far as making this stuff illegal for abortion. You’ve got to remember, what is abortion? The sacrificing of kids. What does that sacrifice do? Abortion is the food source for Baal; Baal being the strongman over America. That’s what empowers Baal. You’re taking Baal’s food source and he’s not liking it, so this is retaliation from the enemy that I would say is from that heartbeat bill.”

There is no evidence that climate is suddenly changing. Every study needs decades of data, centuries of data if it wants to actually measure something, None of them show any sudden droughts, rainfalls, snow, temperatures that are anything more than weather variations. It is slightly warmer than in 1600 AD and colder than in the Holocene which may have been as much as 5 degrees C warmer in the northern hemisphere.
Giss is the poster child for warming and several others using similar methods of measurement. Nothing in Giss says its current measurement is anything more than the warming which has been going on for the last 400 years, most of which comes from the sun. To claim all the recent warming is due to Man’s CO2 emissions is a huge leap of faith unsupported by any actual data.
Higher CO2 = greatly raised temperatures is a model or models, none of which can explain past warm ups and cool downs. Since Giss changes a whole lot of measurements based on what the Gurus think is the correct adjustments it”s actual reference to reality is unknown. Lets look at one example, Fairbanks Alaska temperatures are measured at the international airport. The sensor is in a building at the end off the concrete runways. The recent claim of 90 degree record was a five minute spike in temperature most likely caused by a jet exhaust and local winds, A sensor 5 miles away never got above 79 degrees. Giss throws those temperatures into the pot and attempts to adjust all the spurious readings out.
NOAA Star data shows the world cooling about 3K since 1978, it used to track with Giss until all the Gurus made all those adjustments to actual measurements. NOAA tidal data for say Miami shows essentially zero ocean rise for several decades which tracks with Star, Giss may be over stating actual temperatures.

NASA did not create global warming by manipulating data
CLAIM
“[NASA] has been adjusting temperatures from the past[…] downward, while adjusting current-day temperatures upward, and those changes are responsible for most of the claimed global warming during that time.”
VERDICT
Factually Inaccurate: Necessary adjustments to temperature datasets have, in total, reduced the apparent global warming trend since the late 1800s. Many independent datasets support the accuracy of NASA’s temperature record.

That is English but not as we know it, besides raised temperatures is a physical fact known from observations, you know empirical data, and falling in line with the scenarios Hansen produced back in 1988.

Not at all, you may be surprised to find that humans are responsible for greater than 100% of the warming. Impossible I hear you say. Not so because human activity increases the aerosol density in the atmosphere which has a cooling effect. This was behind the spat between Michaels and Ben Santer at a 2010 Committee on Science and Technology Hearing overseen by Brian Baird, with Jay Inslee providing accurate input, besides members of the panel excepting Lindzen, Curry and Michaels the testimony of each of those three being flawed.
