Aw, are tornado warnings interrupting your favorite TV show? Just relax and open a cold can of Brawndo™, The Thirst Annihilator.

No thank you, I will stick to my personal blend of Mountain Dew, Red Bull, and vodka, which I have named Bulldewdo.

Although I agree with the weatherman’s feelings about the morans in tornado country who shouldn’t be complaining, we here in the DC area ARE inundated with all kinds of hysterical BS every time a tornado pops up anywhere east of Chicago. Back at the beginning of this deluge of bad weather a month ago, they nattered on for over 24 hours straight about the tornadoes that never arrived, interrupting every last show on TV. The Bachelorette-Survivor-American Idol folks were most upset. Look at the map to see how many tornadoes did NOT come near DC.

Great graphics in this piece—-the weather channel clip is excellent and the jet stream one is simple but effective. The Alaska Ridge way up top and almost out of the picture is scary—-melting permafrost anyone?

PS Don’t know if it’s happening anywhere else in the country, but we have also been inundated this week with news about the climbers dying on Mt. Everest. There is definitely something wrong with the human species when such NON news gets so much attention.
