WOW! If anyone is “shrill”, it’s this flaming anal orifice. He WILL be back as a “guest” on FOX. Anyone who has memorized the RWNJ “socialist” and climate change “hoax” bullshit as well as he has and can spout it so easily is like gold to the Fauxies. Sad!

    • A Thorpe Says:

Shrill was the AOO video you posted recently and it was fear mongering, just like the nonsense from her at the start of this video. All she does is state what she considers are dangers, but she has no solutions. This is how fear is generated.

Ned Ryun is wrong to say man made global warming is a hoax. That suggests organisation and the warmers don’t have any. It is simply that activists have a common view. They have no evidence and so use the concept of consensus which has no place in science. They attack the so called deniers who they claim are the ruling elite, hence the attacks on Trump. All this appeals to the working class who respond to fear and don’t have any scientific education to understand the issue.

      • Rick Schallack Says:

The AOC video was not shrill. AOC happened to compare the 911 response to the response post-hurricane Maria. Losing 3000 lives on American soil in a single event and there are crickets.

Regardless of Maria’s impacts vis a vis Climate Change there is one thing clear from this administration, in it’s treatment of people it deems as “foreign.” Citizenship be damned.

  2. “Shrill” … Pretty much a gendered insult there, Faux.

    • jimbills Says:

No ‘pretty much’ about it. When has that word ever been used to describe a man?

Like Peter was saying with the title – where do you start with this? There are probably 50 plus instances of lies, hyperbole, and distortions all within a few minutes. The guy says Ocasio-Cortez uses fear as a tactic, then turns right around and says if we implemented the Paris Accord we ‘would annihilate our economy’.

I have to laugh at the ‘3 Mexican Countries’ in the above photo, even though that’s a really sad situation.

    • rhymeswithgoalie Says:

OAC is not just shrill, she’s…uppity.

      • dumboldguy Says:

LOL Another “gendered insult” that, and more than a little bit racist as well, if you look to its origins..

Vicki Leon has made a career of writing about thousands of UW down through time with her series of books:

        https://www.goodreads.com/series/108203-uppity-women

A quote—–“A learned woman is thought to be a comet, that bodes mischief whenever it appears.” —Bathsua Makin (1612-1683). Fitting for AOC, who can now be thought of as AOComet.

  3. Donald Hnatowich Says:

To deny climate change in the face of so, so many extreme weather events is to
either be blind to facts or simply stupid.

    • jimbills Says:

It’s sort of both and neither.

In general, conservatives are very ‘ends justify the means’ type of people. They are protecting what they consider to be core principles – this can be many things from keeping the status quo in government and the economy, to safeguarding their particular brand of American culture defined by religion and material comfort, to supporting those that help push their own agenda.

Lies, facts, scare tactics, logic – all these things are bent to service that agenda. Some of it is done deliberately, some of it is done unconsciously as a sort of reflexive response. Ignorance helps, but some of these people are in fact quite intelligent. They just use ‘facts’ as a lawyer would use when arguing a case. They pick the ‘facts’ that support their position and find ways to disregard or demean contradictory facts. Actual truth isn’t of primary importance. Protecting their core principles and agenda is the top priority.

Threats to their core principles are treated as a disease that must be eradicated. And let’s be honest, climate change does threaten much about our current way of life. So, it must be treated with the full arsenal of logic errors and distortions.

I looked up this guy. I wouldn’t take him as a shill for fossil fuels primarily. He’s a grassroots conservative activist with a Christian identity. He’s also not unintelligent. He’s just bending the truth to fit his principles.

    • Brent Jensen-Schmidt Says:

      Criminal is also applicable.

      • dumboldguy Says:

I would add evil—-Jeffy4Z’s Wetiko is indeed alive and well, and working through Republicans, Faux News, climate change deniers, the greedy rich, Trump, and other morally bankrupt RWNJ’—-“good” is dying.

Anything is possible in a Faux world…
