PBS Newshour: Jennifer Francis on Polar Vortex

Jennifer Francis has been a friend of this series for some years – when I first started interviewing her long ago, her work was considered a bit on the cutting edge.

Now mainstream.

    I was just thinking the same thing, that I first picked up on her research through your website. Remember the ‘debates’ with Kevin Trenberth. The first posts appeared in 2012 if I’m not mistaken:

      right. great to see her getting recognition.
      Science still chewing on the climate/jet interaction, but pretty clear there is a relationship – will be posting more soon on this.
