Beto O’Rourke Hits “Lyin’ Ted” on Climate

October 17, 2018

Democratic candidates seem to be refreshingly bolder about Climate Change this cycle.

Which reminded me of that time I fact-checked Ted Cruz on his Climate Change denial.

and one other time below.

Of course, your supposed to follow the misdirection, not the damage from global warming that causes climate change!

I’m requesting you not post on my posts. And there are others that wish you would stop also. I won’t respond to ANYTHING you post. Thanks for not annoying us anymore.

Thank you for responding to my “posting on your post”, in spite of you saying you wouldn’t do that—-LOL.

And please tell us about those “others that wish I would stop also” (sic)—-why do they let a destroyer of the English language like YOU speak for them? Don’t they have the balls to confront me themselves? (or is an automatic and unthinking thumbs down all their feeble brains can muster?—apparently so—just watch for one or two to appear almost instantly)

If anyone is annoying here, it’s people like you whose thoughts and use of the language are so confused that the rest of us have to ask you WHAT? you are trying to say. Why don’t you go “post” on WUWT instead of Crock? You’ll fit right in there.

Peter, I’m a climate change activist from Texas, so I watched the debate with high hopes. ONE SURREAL DETAIL: the backdrop of the Beto-Crews debate shows an animated graphic of oil rigs moving up and down. That is how thoroughly the ideology of fossil fuels permeates Texas culture. (It’s clearly visible whenever Beto is speaking). Beto has been embracing an all-of-the-above strategy (boo!), but for once I wish somebody in a hot race would defend carbon pricing….

    • dumboldguy Says:

Not surreal, just a normal tactic for the scumbag Repugnants who manipulate and use psychological tricks every chance they get—-note that what shows behind the smiling slime-ball is an outline of Texas with the Lone Star emblazoned on it.

Just FYI: Those are cricket pumps, signs of low-production wells.

By the way, you should really push the longer Ted Cruz video — the 9 minute version ( ) Not only is informative and persuasive, it’s just a nice presentation of the issues — definitely one of your best!

  4. Cruz’s portion of the exchange is included in this clip. The climate question is posed at 0:15.

The Cruz campaign has been purchasing billboard advertisements that read, “Beto O’Rourke wants you to pay 24 more cents per gallon of gas” (Oh, the humanity!) which refers to President Obama proposing a $10 tax on every barrel of oil to fund rail and highway projects. O-Rourke voted against a GOP 2016 resolution opposing the tax.
