In a summer of climate fueled disasters, news reports connecting fires, droughts, floods and other extremes with climate change have been sparse. Here are a few recent bright spots.

Climate coverage is one reason why so many folks now rely on comedians for news.

    This is what I call decent climate coverage:

    (Keep in mind that the 1979-2000 period was already 0.55°C warmer than pre-industrial temperatures)

    Media Matters study showed EXACTLY ONE mention of climate change during 127 pieces on heat waves, wildfires, etc. Can’t get much worse than that.

    The company is trying to combat scientific misinformation on its platform. Wikipedia has been helping the streaming platform describe topics like global warming, the MMR vaccine, and UFOs.
