Music Break: Steve Goodman – You Better Get it While you Can

June 22, 2018

Steve Goodman was one of the best singer songwriters I ever saw live. Maybe the best.

Heard Goodman sing this on the radio, part of an interview where he discussed his ongoing treatment for leukemia.
Steve Goodman died at age 36 in 1984.

That’s Jethro Burns on the mandolin.

I saw him live, too. A small man with a big soul. 🙂

    Compare to this guy…

  3. Loved Steve Goodman! Never saw him live. But I have a live album that gives a sense of what it was like.
