They’ll be electric.
Electric flying cars.
What does that tell you about progress on battery storage?

Sure. You seem to forget that flying takes a multiple of energy than driving on the ground. Fuck Uber. They only destroy the life of millions of taxi drivers all over the world.

“What does that tell you about progress on battery storage?”
That a capitalistic free market will direct resources for ostentatious playthings for the rich before it achieves low-cost renewable energy for the masses?

Yep, saw a couple of clips on the nightly news shows about a new “flying car”—one gave price as $400,000, the other as $600,000. Nothing particularly new about the design—gyrocopter-style, gas powered. At those prices, there will not be one in every garage.
Don’t sell your solar Roadway stock to buy Uber because of these flying cars (shown flying on a CG Clip or as mockups sitting on a movie set). They are highly unlikely to EVER appear, never mind in 2020, and Uber is losing ever-increasing amounts of $$$ every month (billions per year)—-Uber itself may be gone by 2020, especially when the coming Trump stock market collapse hits us.

I’m not selling my Solar Roadway stock any time soon, I can promise you that! ……………
Because I don’t have any. Just wanted to shine some light on that avenue of inquiry. ;>D
