Fox News, Where Climate Denial, Misogny, and Racism Rule
April 26, 2017
I’ve said it a thousand times. Like greenhouse gases, hate is a long lived pollutant.
Climate denial and racism go together like peas and carrots.
Obviously, recent events demonstrate that misogyny is an important part of the mix.
Fox News anchor Kelly Wright on Wednesday held an emotional press conference in which he condemned the network’s “systemic and institutional racial bias.”
While Wright said that he enjoyed working at Fox and admired many of the people working there, he said that he could no longer justify remaining silent as many of his black colleagues were suing the network for racial discrimination.
“I should not have some sort of glass ceiling placed over me,” he said. “Management should not place an umbrella or a lid over my career or the career of anyone… simply based on the color of our skin and what they deem is ‘acceptable’ to their viewers.”
Wright then said that some people have told him that he shouldn’t ever worry about being fired from Fox because the network needed him to show the public that it isn’t a racist network.
“Some people have said, ‘You’re in a good position, forget about it. Fox would never get rid of you because they need more black men to defend themselves against the critics who accuse Fox of racial bias,’” he said. “Well, I’m not here to be a token, either. I’m here to be a valued employee.”

Keep right on committing political suicide, it’s what you guys do. At Gekko Insurance, they can save you 15% or more on car insurance. It’s what THEY do.
From CNN: “In one alleged example, Wright claims that he was rebuffed in his efforts to show a series of positive stories about the African-American community on the “Factor” because, according to the complaint, “it showed Blacks in ‘too positive’ a light.”
Uh, huh. But FNC anchor Charles Payne was allowed to tell one of the most positive stories I’ve heard on how he was able to overcome every roadblock thrown at him and achieve the success he now has. Herman Cain, Kevin Jackson, and Michelle Malkin, none of whom are lily white, are routinely called upon at FNC to describe how the Democrats are a very negative influence on minorities, offering their own examples of how embracing conservatism is the positive way to success. Sean Hannity has railed against the “hands up don’t shoot” protests as the very thing fomenting new racism rather than solving the remaining problem. Outside of FNC, one of the left’s biggest villains, Rush Limbaugh, allowed a rare guest on his show to detail at length the positive story of overcoming institutional racism. Who was that guest? Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. And what skin color does Limbaugh’s career-long call screener/engineer/program observer have? You guys probably have no clue.
Meanwhile, in all the climate issue interaction I’ve participated in since 2008 with my assorted pals, I haven’t heard a racistl utterance once, and there is no way on God’s/Allah’s/Charles Darwin’s green Earth that you will be able to frame me with the ‘racist’ label.

Ever heard the term “Uncle Tom?”
Well, all you are doing is demonstrating that the phrase applies to the likes of Cain and Malkin.
Oh, and just because you do not voice your racism in certain circumstances does not mean that the racism you are openly displaying here should be ignored
April 27, 2017 at 11:19 am
“Uncle Tom” is an old southern racist term, is it not?
April 27, 2017 at 1:33 pm
No, it’s not. ‘Uncle Tom’ is a character in an anti-slavery novel by Harriet Beecher Stowe called “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”. Do the math.
May 2, 2017 at 3:54 pm
So. Your line of reasoning would be the same as me saying the stars and bars flag is just a piece of cloth. Did you not think that through?
We’re talking about usage here, friend. If you stood in front of a room full of conservative African-Americans and called them “Uncle Toms”, nobody would consider you to be a racist? None in the audience would find that label outright offensive? Go try it sometime and let us know how that works out for you.
April 27, 2017 at 12:27 pm
Racists seek to suppress and disparage minorities at every opportunity, and shun them as well? Correct? You’d agree that is not in dispute?
If I support the words of minority individuals who advocate the uplifting of their fellow population, no matter how that may be accomplished, exactly what is racist about that? But let’s explore that further. I support the works of former MRC pundit/video producer Bob Parks, he’s one of my Facebook Friends. So is Harry Alford, BNCC founder, I exchanged emails with him around the time when he accused Senator Boxer of being a racist and I’ve used the Youtube link to that exchange more than once. Kevin Jackson quoted extensively on 2/25/2015 from one of my online pieces at his BlackSphere site, I praised him for that. I even used the landmark movie “In the Heat of the Night” to make a point about unsupportable discrimination right here in Crocks Comments back on 11/9/2016.
Friend, to avoid looking foolish employing the ‘creation science form-conclusion-then-concoct-evidence-to-prove-it’ tactic, you are now obligated to prove I am a racist. How are you going to accomplish that now?
April 27, 2017 at 1:22 pm
Racists loves them some good niggers who know their place. It’s only the uppity ones they have problems with.
May 2, 2017 at 4:04 pm
That was brilliant. Use unnecessary and spectacularly offensive terms in a pointless way, while abysmally giving one iota of help to commenter “schwadevivre” prove I’m remotely racist. Now both of you have dug yourselves deeper into a hole you have no hope of getting out of. And remember, friends, you aren’t the only ones reading these comments. How are you going to meet a larger audience’s expectations when it comes to proving I am what you think I am?
April 27, 2017 at 5:49 am
Wow, if you STILL can’t see and hear the completely obvious racial and ethnic exclusion in “conservative” messaging today, i’m sorry, you’ve got to get your eyes and ears checked.
April 27, 2017 at 12:23 pm
“Sean Hannity has railed against the “hands up don’t shoot” protests as the very thing fomenting new racism … ”
In other words, “Yousa Massa, it sho’ ’nuff a’ de fault o’ dem uppity nigras, yas suh!”
If you and your assorted pals can’t understand how utterly racist this is then there is no way you’ll understand how deep down to the bone racist you frame yourselves.
Please try to understand the difference between stories showing the black community in a good light, and the personal stories of black individuals who have found success often by denouncing and denigrating those very communities and by doing so, pandering to the delight of a significantly racist white audience.

“there is no way on God’s/Allah’s/Charles Darwin’s green Earth that you will be able to frame me with the ‘racist’ label.”
Oh sure, no doubt that would be incredibly difficult. (insert eye roll here) I’m sure that when you say:
” how the Democrats are a very negative influence on minorities”
You do not mean that Democrats, by their support for civil rights, aid for single mothers and children, food stamps, welfare payments, urban renewal, etc are harming minorities by not allowing them to pull them up by their own bootstraps?
That welfare payments foster a dependence on welfare, leading to inner cities being full of lazy minorities sucking on the public dole. You would NOT mean that, not even think it, right??
April 27, 2017 at 11:18 am
One of the hallmarks of far-left folks is how they never seem to think out their counter-attacks. The examples I offered above speak about their own experiences as minority people who have risen up by their own bootstraps. Everyone should support civil rights and urban renewal for the benefit of all society. I do, so your premise there is faulty right out of the gate. But I say dependence on welfare is what fosters a certain degree of laziness, but I also say it applies across the board regardless of skin color. A direct Caucasian relative of mine and his associated significant other are examples of that when both were fully able to go out and get real jobs. So how does that make me a racist?
Would you like to try another angle, since that one didn’t work out for you?

Russophobia and Putinphobia are even worse, and far more dangerous. Those who indulge in them severly pollute themselves, often beyond redemption.
April 26, 2017 at 5:26 pm
There is nothing phobic about calling a dictator a dictator, nor anything phobic about calling a kleptocrat a kleptocrat. It is simply a matter of fact. If there are people in Russia who don’t know what Putin is (see above) them maybe that’s because all the independent media has been shut down, and unco-operative journalists jailed or killed.
Which is what happens in dictatorships.
April 26, 2017 at 5:31 pm
Except that he is neither, as you would know if you were truly informed and not parroting the mendacious wester propaganda. Get real and get a life!
April 27, 2017 at 12:31 am
LOLOLOL. 😂😂😂
Really Rotchka, I hope they’re paying you well for making an utter fool of yourself.
Although I’m pretty sure that Russian trolls earn barely enough to afford their daily crust of bread. Courtesy of your Putin the thug.
April 27, 2017 at 7:32 am
You obviously have never set foot in Russia. Your ignorance and your prejudices are astounding and completely divorced from reality. I am nobody’s troll and I have a substantial personal fortune.
April 27, 2017 at 4:10 am
So you are saying that all the “accidents” that affect his opponents with such regularity are just coincidences?
Are you saying that the vast criminal underground that makes up his power base does not exist?
Try leaving Cloud Cuckoo Land
April 27, 2017 at 7:40 am
Those “accidents” are perpetrated by fifth columnists – they are never in the interest of Putin but certainly contribute to smearing him.
Get a functioning brain and come back to reality (although I fear it is far too late in your case).
April 27, 2017 at 4:08 am
How is loathing of a vicious and abhorrent dictator like Putin a “phobia?”
Russia is a country that has been converted into an outlaw state by Putin, harming the Russians and the multiplicity of other ethnicities that make up that country.
Putin has pushed criminals and oligarchs into positions of power, they are the new Boyars. Now stop trying to gild a turd
April 27, 2017 at 7:36 am
Because he is not a vicious and abhorrent dictator, and, quite frankly, you and your ilk are the vicious and abhorrent ones.
You truly don’t know what you’re prattling about, it has absolutely nothing to do with reality, it is merely a reflection of your extremely disturbed little mind.
April 27, 2017 at 7:38 am
Outlaw state? It is America that transgresses established international law as though it was nothing more than a suggestion.
Oligarchs? It was the Harvard boys that sold everything off for pennies and instituted the oligarchs. Putin owes most of his popularity to cleaning them up.
Criminals? The mafia style governance in Russia reached its pinnacle under Yeltsin, who was doing the bidding of American advisers with their “schock therapy”. You mention the exact points on which Putin wins elections.
Elections? Of course that is all fake, only America has fair and even elections, even though no international monitoring body considers the ground rules there adequate to even being susceptible to monitors.
Putin is a “vicious” dictator (favorite MSM hendiadys), but the deaths of half a million Iraqi children (per UNICEF] is of course humanitarian when America is the agent.
April 27, 2017 at 12:42 pm
Putin didn’t clean up the oligarchs so much as bring them under the wing of his pontifical beneficence.
April 27, 2017 at 5:56 am
Is Putin-phobia a thing now? How about organized-crime-phobia? or Polonium210-phobia?
April 27, 2017 at 7:46 am
Yes, it is – as for organized crime, the USA along with the UK are the indiscutable champions. As for Israeli Polonium210 purchased by the exiled and Putin-hating Russian Jewish billionaire oligarchs, yes, one should fear it.
April 27, 2017 at 8:17 am
You clearly don’t have full-of-shit-phobia
April 27, 2017 at 8:29 am
Clearly, you are a totally ignoran retard, as this little clip of you demonstrates:
April 27, 2017 at 8:31 am
Oops, my bad… ignorant, of course. Time to install my new computer and keyboard.
April 27, 2017 at 7:31 pm
A whole lot of people really really need mental health treatment.
