  1. Ron Voisin Says:

Very funny! That’s how you have to view it.

Because reality is that the US economy is like a race-horse banging its chest into the starting gate screaming “open the gate, would you just open the gate”.

But all asshole Barack could do was to put more and more locks on the gate.

Well Trump is opening the gate. And the whole world is going to be better off for it.

    • redskylite Says:

The gate is open alright, right to hell, opened by heartless, indifferent and blasé politicians who are too self-absorbed to recognize science, fact and suffering outside their own backyard.

Thank god we are all not like them. Thank god for decent human beings, wherever they are from and whatever they do.

“Ben Stiller uses viral hashtag to spread awareness about millions starving in East Africa

A severe drought and hunger crisis is affecting Somalia during an East African emergency one U.N. official has called “the worst humanitarian crisis” since World War II. Following Snapchat star Jérôme Jarre’s impassioned plea to help people in the region, Stiller made his own video with a hashtag the pair hopes will go viral: #TurkishAirlinesHelpSomalia.

Somalia is one of four countries — all totaling around 20 million people — facing starvation, dehydration, and impending famine in East Africa. ”

My Grandad wallowed in mud fighting in the trenches of France in WWI. Now thanks to years of uncontrolled fossil burning we can see it live on T.V and you have got your damned champion.

“Peru floods kill 67 and spark criticism of country’s climate change preparedness

Sixty-seven people have been killed and thousands more forced to evacuate by intense rains which damaged 115,000 homes and destroyed more than 100 bridges in Peru’s worst floods in recent memory.

“We are confronting a serious climatic problem,” said Peru’s president, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, in a broadcast to the nation on Friday afternoon. “There hasn’t been an incident of this strength along the coast of Peru since 1998.”

The disaster – which came after a period of severe drought – has been blamed on abnormally high temperatures in the Pacific Ocean, and fuelled criticism that the country is ill-prepared for the growing challenges of climate change.”

    • Lionel Smith Says:

Well Trump is opening the gate. And the whole world is going to be better off for it.

RV can always be relied upon for making crass statements and that has to be one of his most crass yet.

And what redskylite has to say.

RV you numpty, I didn’t serve, my folks didn’t suffer Hitler’s bombs and my grandparents the horrors of WW1 just so that a Donald can have temper tantrums to get his infantile way and the Lamar Smiths of the world can make a mockery of a just and free society.

You are at the wrong end of the ethics continuum RV, just for one such.

    • The reality is that Trump is an avaricious sociopath who is bent on destroying the very fabric of this country.

And, when this is over, those of you who rooted for this monster to burn it all down, will, I sure as hell hope, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Oh, and by the way, FU.

    • It doesn’t take much Googling to confirm that Ron Voisin is a class A crackpot.

      Exhibit (A) (

We don’t know for sure that the oceans are net-absorbers or net-emitters at this time.

Oh, FFS! A high-school science student with access to a periodic table of the elements and a scientific calculator can figure out, in just a few minutes, that the oceans *must* currently be absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere. It’s simple bean-counting math.

      Exhibit (B) (

An Engineer’s Hypothesis: A Geo-Reactor Explanation of Major Climate Change
The question then is: “just what is this immensely powerful, low-frequency but high-amplitude driver that repeatedly overwrites (hammers) these stable solar latching-states to cause abrupt major climatic transitions?” I theorize that the answer is very likely the second most profound source of Earthly energy…the central-core nuclear reactor. See Figure 1.

No need to comment on this!

      • dumboldguy Says:

No need to comment on this, you say? Beg to differ, but Ron is a classic example of Dunning-Kruger. He lived at the bottom of a very narrow and tall silo as an electrical engineer, and now has taken up “studying climate change” as a freaking HOBBY? And since all the way back in 2007?!! WOW! And Ron is so impressed with how he knows so much that he can come to Crock and and spout inanities.

Ron should stay on WUWT where his ignorant BS will be eagerly lapped up by those who are more ignorant of the science of climate change than he is. Right now, the only thing Ron is really qualified for is to sign the Oregon Petition with all the other “engineers”.

From “About the Author” on Ron’s WUWT pieces.

“Ronald D Voisin is a retired engineer. He spent 27 years in the Semiconductor Lithography Equipment industry mostly in California’s Silicon Valley. Since retiring in 2007, he has made a hobby of studying climate change. Ron received a BSEE degree from the Univ. of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 1978 and has held various management positions at both established semiconductor equipment companies and start-ups he helped initiate. Ron has authored/co-authored 55 patent applications, 24 of which have issued”. Those patents and applications are almost all in a very narrow field that is totally unrelated to any of the science surrounding climate change—-take a look at them here.

One, however, is quite interesting, just like Ron’s long dismissed “Earth is warmed by an internal nuclear reactor” BS cited here. Google “Powering an internal combustion engine patent US 20150000622 A1” for a real eyeful of BS.

PS Where were you from 1978 when you graduated to 1980 when you started working in the semiconductor industry, Ron? Flipping burgers at Mickey D’S?

  2. redskylite Says:

An Irishman with the weight of history sizes Trump up, and does the thick skinned Trump even understand it ? I doubt it.

Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny gave a speech in the East Room of the White House Thursday evening to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day — and to not-so-subtly roast the heck out of President Donald Trump, whose second Muslim ban was blocked by a federal judge in Hawaii on Wednesday.

According to a video released by the British television network Channel 4, the Taoiseach used his time to point out that Saint Patrick is not just the patron saint of Ireland but “for many people around the globe, he’s also a symbol of, indeed the patron of, immigrants.”
