  1. Hmmmmm, democracy anyone? Or dictatorship?

  2. Republicans have long had a streak of crazy going for them. It ramped up enormously when Obama took office, because R’s hate Obama[i.e., the black man] with a red hot purple passion, and evidently plan to scuttle as much of what he did, as soon as possible, because they just can not stand that a black man was such an effective AND beloved, Commander-in-Chief.

Trump thinks he is a dictator. We, the American people must disabuse him of that notion.

  3. If BP gets it right electric cars will increase 100 fold with a mild increase in emissions year after year. This doesn’t meet the Paris Climate Accords if BP has it right.

Meanwhile, the report predicts electric cars are set to increase 100-fold over the next 20 years, from one million on the roads today to 100 million in 2035 – a sizeable increase on its 2016 projections of 70 million cars by 2035.

  4. Tom Bates Says:

The EPA is not gagged, it was simply asked to stop putting out contracts pending review. The climate page and the data is still there, I just googled it two hours ago. This is more fake news from the AGW and leftist crowd, Go google the EPA, it has a page on climate. The data is in a format your browser cannot read but that is true of most of the government formats, just buy the software suite and you can download the data for yourself.

Video above has tagline “EPA Ordered to Freeze All Grants and Contracts”. There is no intentionally fake declaration about anything.

The abuse of the term fake news is becoming very Orwellian.

  5. The EPA’s climate section is still intact. This morning, a Trump spokesman said that officials are reviewing the “editorial” parts of the EPA’s website. They’re “looking at scrubbing it up a bit, putting a little freshener on it, and getting it back up to the public”.

On the other hand, now only mentions climate once – “For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule.”

    • And at the same time promises Cleaner air and pure water.

The US will have them, their PR machine and Trump himself will tell us it is fact , just like the inauguration attendance.

  6. Neither EPA or the Trump team responded back to make this clear. But in here, the EPA is waiting for further instruction from the Beach Team. Which means the Trumpies. Soooooo did the orders come from the Trumpies or was this an internal memo.?

I just returned from a briefing for Communication Directors where the following information was provided. These restrictions are effective immediately and will remain in place until further direction is received from the new Administration’s Beach Team. Please review this material and share with all appropriate individuals in your organization. If anyone on your staff receives a press inquiry of any kind, it must be referred to me so I can coordinate with the appropriate individuals in OPA.

No press releases will be going out to external audiences.
No social media will be going out. A Digital Strategist will be coming on board to oversee social media. Existing, individually controlled, social media accounts may become more centrally controlled.
    No blog messages.
The Beach Team will review the list of upcoming webinars and decide which ones will go forward.
Please send me a list of any external speaking engagements that are currently scheduled among any of your staff from today through February.
Incoming media requests will be carefully screened.
No new content can be placed on any website. Only do clean up where essential.
List servers will be reviewed. Only send out critical messages, as messages can be shared broadly and end up in the press.

  7. Through out the article it shows that the administration wants the EPA to reflect their point of view. A nice way of saying politicizing science.

The EPA’s Climate Change website dates to the Clinton administration, when it was called the EPA’s Global Warming site. The site has long served as a comprehensive portal to climate-change information, including basics about climate science and the impacts of climate change, a section on various indicators of climate change around the United States, details about the EPA’s climate change policies, and programs and guides to what individuals and local governments can do to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. But it isn’t unprecedented for the White House to exercise control over the EPA’s climate site.

  8. According to the National Law Review, this action on the part of the Trump administration is “unlawful”.

    Here is the article.

It is hoped that legal proceedings will begin very soon to undo this illegal directive.
