Newsweek Update on Russian Hacking: First They came for the Scientists..

January 14, 2017

Greatest crisis since Pearl Harbor.

We can at least thank Putin/Trump admin for clarifying things.

Time to let your rep know that those standing with Trump are standing with Fascist Dictator Vladimir Putin, against Freedom, and the next 10,000 generations of human beings.  Ask them what side of history they are on.

Below: Further clarification on Russian Hack Attack on Democracy from Kurt Eichenwald.  Anything sound familiar?

No surprise that enemies of democracy and humanity are using, and may be the inventors of, fossil fuel hack attack on scientists.
For those that followed the so called “Climategate” non-scandal of 2009-10, this tactic may sound familiar.

Kurt Eichenwald in Newsweek:

..Russian hackers obtained emails from the DNC that were then sliced into small bits and put out on the internet through participants in the propaganda effort. In many of these instances, the real documents were misrepresented. For example, WikiLeaks released a number of May 2016 emails on the eve of the Democratic convention that made it appear as if the DNC was solely pulling for Clinton; in many online postings, the date was removed so readers would have no idea unless they searched for the original document that was written at a time when Sanders could not possibly have won the nomination.

  1. vierotchka Says:

For heaven’s sake… Putin is neither a fascist nor a dictator. Go to Russia yourself, talk with the people, see how things are there, instead of spewing absolute hateful nonsense.

  2. metzomagic Says:

No, he’s just the richest person on the planet after stealing 200 billion from his own people. Obviously, you are not the ‘people’ one should be talking to when making their determination about… reality.

And while you’re at it, look up ‘oligarch’ and ‘kleptocracy’.

  3. redskylite Says:

Without wishing to inflame any passions, I hope that all political parties in the U.S and elsewhere have learned from this epic upheaval, and put some decent security in place for their sensitive electronic data. It is possible with planning and care. Much responsibility lies with the hosts of data and it is not inevitable that expert foreign powers will crack decent defenses (never mind how sophisticated they are) . For god’s sake modernize & tighten up, imagine we were in the middle of WWII.

Putin may have some serious faults and flaws, he is after all a product of communist U.S.S.R, but he has held that vast and varied country together since the break-up of soviet power, it’s a miracle Russia has stayed together, looking at other countries who have experienced mega-break-ups.

The Cold War was a terrible period, with the threat of nukes and weapons of mass destruction, please let it not return.

    • redskylite Says:

Apologies to Boris Yelsin who was in charge 1991-1999, but all I can remember about Boris is that he had a strong liking for Vodka and plenty of it.

  4. dumboldguy Says:

Why does Vierotchka appear with a Gish Gallop of bullshit EVERY SINGLE TIME a Crock Post appears that mentions Putin, Russia, and the Trump connection? And she would have us believe that she is NOT a troll and paid whore for the Russian propaganda machine? LMAO!

Give it up, you stupid woman! Your perfidy couldn’t be any more obvious!

  5. redskylite Says:

Some items of news that disturbed me, remembering the visit and advocacy of Nigel Farage of UKIP and BREXIT fame. A bit too coincidental such (far right) political figures are gathering.

    From the West in Reuters.

The group Human Rights Watch mentioned both Trump and Le Pen in a report warning that the rise of populist leaders threatens global human rights. It cited Trump’s victory as well as Britain’s move to leave the European Union led by Nigel Farage, who Trump has praised.

    • redskylite Says:

and from the East it’s been noticed in Moscow . .

The US President-elect has never met with Le Pen before, but there are people in his team, who support her. In particular, Trump’s Senior Advisor and Breitbart’s former chief editor Steve Bannon would often make flatteringly remarks about Marine Le Pen.

    • vierotchka Says:

Marine Le Pen is a Nazi sympathizer, even though she vehemently denies it. If she gets elected president of France (heavens preserve us!), it will be a catastrophe.

      • dumboldguy Says:

And how will she differ from the “Nazi sympathizers” like Putin and Trump in terms of her policies? How will she be a bigger catastrophe than they already are and will be? France does NOT play as big a role on the planet as Russia and the U.S. anyway, and whatever happens there will be just a small part of the worldwide catastrophe that is upon us.

PS Thank you for once again demonstrating your perfidy and stupidity, Vierotchka. You are again being far too obvious in your efforts to disrupt and deflect any discussion of those you whore for. TEN of the nineteen comments on this thread come from you, and they say NOTHING of substance.

And LMAO at the the little cheering squad that is giving you some “thumbs up” on this thread. It consists of you, Tommy-Poo Bates, and Ron Voisin, I suspect (unless those you whore for have sent in a backup whore from Russia to stand on the street corner with you).

        • vierotchka Says:

          Putin a Nazi sympathizer???

        • dumboldguy Says:

Vierotchka has now gone from 10 for 19 (~53%) to 12 for 22 (~55%), and her new ones are perhaps even more stupid than the earlier ones. Keep it up, you stupid woman—-no one is easier to brand as a fool than someone who isn’t smart enough to shut up and stop proving to the world what a fool she is.

And you can’t dispute the “Nazi sympathizer” label for Putin, can you? So you simply try to laugh it off with another dumbass clip? You won’t even attempt to argue that there is no “sympatico” between Hitler and Putin?—–annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and Crimea, rabid nationalism, development of a feudal corporate state and oligarchy, threats against other countries, etc?

          • dumboldguy Says:

(Snort, fart, scratch rear end, roll over)

            Stupid woman!

          • dumboldguy Says:

Sticks and stones, Vierotchka, sticks and stones. Didn’t want to discuss how Putin could be labelled a “Nazi sympathizer”, huh? Stupid woman!

          • vierotchka Says:

            Excellent description of you:

          • dumboldguy Says:

Laughable! Darling V comes onto Crock and bullies EVERYONE with her trolling and whoring for Putin, and now she has the balls to whine about being bullied?

She would have us believe that she is a “quiet, reserved person”, “a SHY person”, and even one who may be “ill or small”. Lord love a duck—-pardon me while I weep in shame at my behavior.!

In actuality, Vierotchka is about as “quiet, reserved, and shy” as a a rabid raccoon or wolverine, and about as easy to bully as a ten-foot alligator. I wouldn’t go near her without being heavily armed.—-I’m glad an ocean separates us.

          • vierotchka Says:

Eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation, if your shrinking old brain is capable of doing so, silly old man!

  6. vierotchka Says:

This is why Putin is no Nazi sympathizer, and anyone who says that he is a Nazy sympathizer is either a total idiot or a psychopath

    • dumboldguy Says:

That link is meaningless drivel posted by a woman who is too stupid to understand what it means (and I wonder how much of it is even true, when so much else about Putin is lies and propaganda).

Listen carefully, stupid woman—-WW2 has been over for 71+ years now, Putin was born in 1952 seven+ years after it ended, and his present brand of “Nazism” has little to do with the Nazis of WW2 beyond the fact that he behaves like them in so many ways, as I have already said and you simply refuse to deal with—–like the annexation of Crimea and the the Sudetenland. Tell us how those two events differ.

PS, I am truly sorry that among your five languages, English seems to be one of the weaker. You really need to expand your vocabulary beyond “bully, idiot, psychopath” etc.—–childish, repetitive, boring, and ZZZZZzzzzzz……!!!!!

    • ubrew12 Says:

      “Putin is no Nazi sympathizer”

quote: “adoration of Mr. Putin… first took hold among far-right politicians in Europe… spread the view [to America] of Mr. Putin’s Russia as an ideal model.

“We need a chancellor like Putin, someone who is working for Germany and Europe like Putin works for Russia,” said Udo Voigt, leader of Germany’s National Democratic Party [i.e. Nazi’s]… That far-right group views Chancellor Angela Merkel as a traitor. “Putin is a symbol for us of what is possible,” Mr. Voigt said. “

  7. dumboldguy Says:

A bit longer than Darling V’s five word clips, but far more informative:

    • vierotchka Says:

Keith Olbermann lost the script a long time ago. I detest Trump as much as you do, and detest Hillary just as much.

You need to watch the Empire Files for some truly intelligent discourse – but it most likely will fly waaaay above your pin head.

      • dumboldguy Says:

The Empire Files from teleSUR? LOL! More of that propaganda “feed” that Vierotchka gets from the vodka-drinking boys in the “smoke filled rooms” in Russia.

And Olbermann, like Maddow, and Maher, and so many others here in the US that don’t work for Faux news or Russia (like you) have the only scripts around that speak to truth. You will NEVER convince anyone of anything with your dumb-ass bald assertions.

        • vierotchka Says:

There is perhaps no more precarious an arena for cognitive error than the arena of politics, especially regarding civics and the psychology of power. This is because human beings are to the conditioning mechanisms of their own culture as fish are to water. The difference? Humans can think abstractly. But such thought victimizes itself when it comes to cognitive dissonance; to the extent that new knowledge, even knowledge backed by solid evidence, is ignored in order to maintain a sense of comfort and security within the cultural milieu. Maintaining comfort and security in one’s culture is just fine if that culture is healthy and not corrupt, but when it is both profoundly unhealthy and corrupt as is the case in the USA, such maintenance is tantamount to ignorance and one is more likely to become a victim of cognitive dissonance, which is very much your case.

          • dumboldguy Says:

You forgot to put quotation marks around all that, Darling V. You should have done that, since it’s just a cut and paste job from your handy Manual of Bullshit for Russian Trolls. You know, that nice little tool kit that the vodka drinking boys in the smoke filled rooms provide all you whores for Putin?

Better yet, give us a link so that we can see bullshit like “both profoundly unhealthy and corrupt as is the case in the USA” in full context. We all know you are too freaking stupid and unimaginative to have thought it up on your own.

Cue one of the following as Stupid Old Lady’s response to this comment:
            1) video clip or cartoon of someone laughing
            2) “motivational” poster or placard
            3) video clip from some obscure anti-US or pro-Russia propaganda site
            4) more half-assed bald assertions with no support—-i.e., simply saying “It’s not true”

To which I will reply “ZZZZzzzzz……(loud fart)!!!”
