Look Out Climate Experts. Sara Palin Can see you From Her Window..
April 12, 2016
UPDATE: I’m told this news item has been updated, and Sara and Bill won’t be on the same stage.
Nevertheless, it’s a telling pair. You decide who’s most credible.
This should help clarify who’s who, and what’s what.
If you need Sara Palin to shore up your credibility, you might want to take a step back.
I see Hizzoner Lamar Smith is involved in this, too – so heads up, he’s on the grill in my next video..
Truly, there has been no better time to peddle untruths at the movies than the present. The Tribeca Film Festival, scheduled to begin this Wednesday, courted a little controversy when they programmed the anti-vaccination “documentary” VAXXED for this year’s slate and then cancelled the screening in response to public outcry. Conservative ideologue Dinesh D’Souza has been freed from prison for tax mischief and has now prepped another feature about the evils of the Democratic Party and specifically the succubus running the whole Satanic show, Hillary Clinton. We live in a golden age of factually and ethically questionable documentaries, and now, among this cornucopia of wonders, one wonder more.
Variety has the exclusive report that none other than firebrand Alaskan politician Sarah Palin has thrown her weight behind the new documentary Climate Hustle, an exposé on the long con that is global warming. The independently produced and financed film will screen on May 2 at 400 theaters, spreading the white-hot truth that this whole “climate change” rigamarole is nothing more than a deception on par with Satan tricking Eve into eating the apple that doomed all of humanity. (For scale: Batman v Superman opened in more than 4,200 theaters, and the excellent recent indie Krisha played on 26 screens, so 400 is about the middle of the road.)
Palin’s involvement with the film entails an appearance at a panel discussion on the future of environmental science to take place in Washington, D.C., directly after the film’s screening. The other attendees at this talk include Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) and, incredibly, clips from the director’s interview with Bill Nye the Science Guy. So, for those readers interested in seeing Bill Nye Science Guy debate global warming with Sarah Palin, your remarkably specific dreams are close to coming true true.
ariety has learned exclusively that former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is participating in the event. The screening of the documentary, produced by Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow and Marc Morano’s ClimateDepot.com, will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Palin, with opening remarks by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.
The discussion will be moderated by Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center. Morano is planning to show clips of Bill Nye, best known as “the science guy,” from an interview. Variety reported earlier that Nye was scheduled to appear but his rep for said he was not invited to participate.
The invitation-only panel discussion will take place Thursday in Washington, D.C., following a screening of “Climate Hustle.”
“I’m very passionate about this issue,” Palin told Variety. “We’ve been told by fearmongers that global warming is due to man’s activities and this presents strong arguments against that in a very relatable way.”
