Aftershocks in San Francisco
December 14, 2015
I’ve been in San Francisco this weekend prepping for this week’s American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting (think Burning Man for Scienctists).
We’ve been watching the news from Paris, and there is general agreement that the ground has shifted under our feet, and a guarded feeling of possibility and optimism prevails.
I am getting reports and analysis of the agreement, which few of us have had time to read as yet. As I know more, I will be posting and updating, in between the interviews and sessions that I have scheduled.
Quick take: the starting gun just went off. What we do in these early days counts a lot. Optimism is a force multiplier.
