    1. Double Ditto. Potholer gets it. And if Tim Ball “got it” about what a charlatan and embarrassment he is, he would probably do away with himself (or at least shut up).

Ball is on the list of recipients for Fred Singer’s childish response to The Merchants of Doubt film release.

DeSmogBlog covered the Singer emails to the deniers here: “Merchants of Doubt Film Debuts, Textbook Denial Attack Campaign Led By Fred Singer Ensues”

DeSmogBlog also archived a full copy of the Singer email thread (PDF).

(Note that Russell Cook is on the addressee list—-in last place, as is fitting for the afterthought that is our Russell).

      1. Thanks for that link and list, DOG. 🙂

I have started a compendium list entitled (with gratitude to Douglas Adams):

“Those to be First Up Against the Wall when The Revolution Comes.”

and the names you provided have been added.

        1. {facepalm}

If only you could first do some elemental research on where that phrase originates http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=369691 , and if only you could comprehend exactly why I am on that email list or why I live rent-free in “d.o.g.”‘s mind.

Think positive, though, when the AGW issue collapses, you will have a good list on who ultimately freed you from slavery to an ideology that demanded you trust everything it fed to you without question.

          1. (facepalm) says Russell? LMAO Does he want us to waste the time and energy to preface all our replies to his horseshit with (vomit) or (upchuck)? We are WAY beyond (facepalm) in our reactions to his paid propaganda.

And he wants to distract us by having us “research a phrase”? LMAO again. Who cares where it came from?—it’s appropriate.

We don’t “comprehend exactly why I am on that email list” (of Fred Singer’s), says Russell? OK, Russell, we certainly DO know why you are on that list—-you’re a Heartland Whore—-but we’re willing to listen to YOUR explanation.

Have at it—why are you on the addressee list for that rather damning series of emails? Tell us!

Of course, Russell must end his BS with more of the endlessly repeated denier lies, even though he knows that no one here will ever believe them—-i.e., “…when the AGW issue collapses” etc. Those who pay him want the endless repetition of the lies, and they are willing to pay Russell to spread them whether anyone pays attention to him or not. Aren’t they going to be surprised when AGW DENIALISM collapses and we stand all the deniers like Russell against the wall?

          2. Here’s the Heartland Whore trying to distract us with a question in response to a question.

How about YOU simply answering OUR questions, Russell? Instead of constantly evading and obfuscating and trying to BS your way out of the corner you’ve painted yourself into?

            1) Why are you on the addressee list of Fred Singer’s nefarious emails if you’re NOT “…paid (under any contractual arrangement or otherwise) and/or instructed on what, when, and where to say what I say??” You expect us to believe that you’re not one of the merchants of doubt employed by Heartland? You don’t know any science or law, so why would Fred be asking your advice for any reason OTHER than that you are a co-conspirator in AGW denial?

You and all the others on that addressee list are KNOWN DENIERS and paid whores for Heartland. Google ANY one of their names and you will be buried in “proof”.

            2) And I am still waiting for you to answer ANY of the climate science-based questions I have put to you on MANY occasions. How about just ONE? What is causing the exponential decline in Arctic sea ice? Don’t like that one? How about telling us why sea level is rising? No? Then maybe you’ll tell us why the global average temperature is rising?

  1. One issue I’d dispute: there was no science as we know it at the time of Galileo. Yes Galileo began the trend to examine evidence for one’s self rather than depending on authority, but there’s still a long way to go to arrive at what we call “science”.
