    IMO, Bill Maher is a force for good, but he sometimes gets too full of himself and gets in the way of the discussion, as he did here. I found myself saying “Shut up with the cute “look at me” BS already and let the man talk about the water crisis!”

    I have mixed feelings about what’s going on in CA. On the one hand, I don’t want to see the “innocents” suffer, but people who choose to live in a desert, overpopulate it, and mindlessly plunder its resources deserve what they get. We are making such little progress against AGW that a real SHTF situation in CA may provide the wake up call to get the country moving. We’re running out of time.
