Mayor Bloomberg will be leaving office soon, but an important part of his legacy will be climate mitigation and adaptation initiatives in New York, that have become all the more significant in the wake of Sandy.

    Cue this one up to 28:20 to hear Amory Lovins talk about air-sealing an apartment building in NYC to save about 85% of the energy that would ‘normally’ be used. (Also in the talk, somewhere, is the Empire State Building technical and price savings analysis – I think; it’s been a while since I’ve watched it.)
