“The most urgent of times”
… yes. But the mere use of wording like that gives deniers a free opportunity to label the whole thing as a religion without even considering the science which was explained.

They need no “opportunity”; they do that whatever is said, and when nothing is said. While framing, timing, and other considerations are very important, nothing is as important as telling the truth about what’s happening to the world we love.
To have people be able to hear, absorb and act on that truth it should be told in a supportive environment, face to face individually or even better, with a group, with a facilitator trained to help people handle what comes up emotionally. I’m creating workshops that combine education with emotional processing. Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects has been doing some of this for a long time; many others are doing complementary work. Look into it.
