New Temp Data in a Nutshell
January 16, 2013
I’m really starting to like the service Paul Douglas is providing in these “weather at five” style climate updates.
Here’s a quick, digestible, easy to understand rundown on the latest global temperature data, from the “Republican Meteorologist” – perfect for your non-wonky but curious friends and relatives – here’s a vid you can send to your Mom.
Playlist is here if you want to keep up.

Excellent stuff. It is a shame that so-called climate sceptics are too busy – writing articles in newspapers accusing our publicly funded meteorological agencies of knowingly perpetuating lies – to have time to watch even the shortest of factual videos such as this… However, in the hope that pigs may yet fly, I have (via Twitter) asked Barry Woods and Omnologos to watch this; and/or forward it to James Delingpole. James may not have the time or ability to read peer-reviewed scientific literature (i.e. so he admits himself) but, what possible excuse could he have for not watching and understanding this…?

It is difficult to watch and hear a video when you have your eyes closed and your fingers in your ears.

Indeed. Presumably, it is the same technology that allows the quadraplegic Stephen Hawking to communicate, which Delingpole uses in order to get his thoughts into electronic form (or else he dictates everything into a dictaphone)… Also, the person we often see on television must be a stunt double – paid to make Delingpole seem able-bodied and almost normal…?

A good beginning. What’s needed now is daily weather reports on the idiot box to be extended to include worldwide coverage such as this, so as to help the penny drop with those who. still. don’t. get. it.
