Conservative Talk Radio has a new Go-to-guy on Sandy and Climate – Scott Mandia
November 2, 2012
America’s Radio News Network reaches a lot of relatively conservative listeners on a nationwide broadcast originating in Washington.
Scott Mandia, one of the founders of the Climate Science Rapid Response team, took the opportunity to plug in some vital climate change information.

Excellent interview. Mandia is an impressive speaker.
Glad to see the computer models getting some credit at last!

And that is the model which predicts the next storm 😦

The European model, which did an exemplary job forecasting Hurricane Sandy, predicts a stronger storm that will stay just offshore and bring a 12-hour period of strong winds of 40 – 45 mph to the coasts of Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York on Wednesday morning and afternoon. http://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/comment.html?entrynum=2285

Good!
And btw there is another storm brewing for the East Coast, exactly what humans seem to require in order to learn.

Big step up from Joe Basdardi. Let’s hope the higher level managers don’t reverse the change.

At this point, I think there’s going to be a positive shift. I’ve stated several times that I don’t really like or trust people who jump on the AGW bandwagon because bad weather has hit them unexpectedly.
But while I deplore Obama’s relative reticence on AGW, Hurricane Sandy and his response to the devastation has earned him praise from Christie and the firm endorsement of Bloomberg.
Couple with Bloomberg’s “It’s global warming, STUPID” cover, I expect a denialist double-down but I also believe that Obama will start really talking about it, as we hoped he would back in 2008.
