Trailer: The Revisionaries
October 8, 2012
If you liked watching Rep. Paul Broun shame the entire country with his fundamentalist, biblically inspired tirades on the floor of congress, you love knowing how denialists have a plan, frighteningly successful so far, to spread ignorance over the entire country…

The problem, of course, is not Broun but the fact that he’s electable in the US of A.
There’s good reason why the only two ways by which people enter into Christianity in the first place are either thru childhood brainwashing or in rather profound ignorance of the Bible. (The Bible, btw, is a terribly interesting book, endlessly fascinating. Trouble is, it’s pretty obviously better understood than believed.)

As a highly educated and travelled person, this trailer scares me crapless.
Am I the only one?

With so much stupidity (in power) in this country, I fear the worst for our near future.

“We are turning education in a vastly different direction.”
Yes….. backwards!

’tis a symptom of poor voter turnout. Those who refuse to participate in politics are doomed to be ruled by idiots such as the good Dr. Broun. There is a two part moral to the story though.
1. Dr. Broun is in desperate need of a rectal craneotomy.
2. Get yer butt to the polls, and vote idiots like him out before they can do any more harm.

What I don’t get why he is running for re-election to congress, but is, as I understand it, unopposed by the Democrats!

That clip could not be more frightening if they replaced that Don McLeroy with Jason Voorhees.
